House moves to debate of funding bill with border wall money

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday cleared the way for debate and possible passage of legislation to fund several federal agencies running out of funds and provide $5 billion for building President Donald Trump’s U.S.-Mexico border wall.

If the bill does pass the House, Senate Democrats have vowed to defeat it over the border wall money they oppose.
